It is with a heavy heart that we announce Arturo O. Gonzales Jr., 55, was called home to our Lord on April 25, 2024. Arturo "Art" Gonzales was born on July 6, 1968, to Arturo Gonzales and Rosalinda Samudio Rios in Galveston Tx.

Art loved cooking, gardening, landscaping, fishing, taking care of all his loved ones, and enjoying the beach with his lifelong companion. He loved family gatherings and making sure everyone was having a good time and laughing.

Art is survived by his lifelong companion Erlinda Klubertanz of Corpus Christi, Tx, his two sons Michael Gonzales of California and Benjamin Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Tx, and his stepdaughter Jessica (Jose) Carrion of Robstown Tx. He is also survived by his brother Christopher Gonzales and his sister Veronica Gonzales both of Corpus Christi Tx, as well as his 6 grandchildren, Jose, Aidan, Cadence, Avianna, Layla, and various nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Rosalinda Samudio Rios.

Art's family will host an informal viewing for close family and friends on Friday, May 3rd , 2024, at Guardian Funeral Home from 2:00pm. – 4:00pm.
