Arturo G. Flores passed away on May 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Arturo was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 20, 1940 to Rodolfo Flores and Ercilia Garza.

Arturo Garza Flores met and married the love of his life Josephine Morales Flores in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 12,1960 and wasmarried 63 years. He retired from Sears Dept Store after 37 years as an automotive mechanic which was his passion. He enjoyed traveling with his family especially to Las Vegas. Our dad was full of life and was an excellent husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him. As kids our greatest memory of dad is when he would take us on Sunday drives to the bayfront and numerous summer trips. He will be dearly missed by all of us. He was surrounded by his loving family at time of death.

He is preceded in death by his father Rodolfo Flores Sr, mother Ercilia Garza Flores, sister Eva Flores Vacca, brother Rodolfo Flores Jr.

He is survived by his wife Josephine along with three daughters Dolores (Guy) Gaede, Lily (David) Haufler, Laura (John) Ramos and one son Arthur (Monica) Flores. Five grandchildren Alana Marie Reyes, Alyssa Ann Reyes, Alexis (Andrew) Heon, Vivian Elise Flores, Ryan Arthur Flores and four great-grandchildren. Alsosisters of Olga Scoggins from South Carolina and Gloria Casares.

We would also like to thankCCMC Bay Area Hospital 3rd floor nursing and staff also Angel bright hospice for the peace and comfort for our loved one.

Visitation will be held at Guardian Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28th from 4-8pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm . Visitation will resume the following day at 9am . A Funeral Mas s will then be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 12pm and the Burial will follow at 1:30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery.
