Arthur H. Goding Jr., 64, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away May 10, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City MO. He was born Jan 27, 1953 in Alexandria, VA to Arthur H. Goding, Sr. and Dorothy (Sweet) Goding.
He is proceeded in death by his Father Arthur Goding, Sr., Brother John C. Goding, Granddaughter Ashley Dawn Landford and Grandson Corey Jackson.
Survivors include his Wife Deborah Goding of Corpus Christi; Children, Deonna (Bart) Langford Manvel, TX; son Michael (Evelyn) Goding Corpus Christi; DeLaina (Jay) Whitlock Corpus Christi; Laura Lewis San Antonio; Phillip (Sheridan) Quintanilla Austin; Richard (Ashley) Quintanilla, Jr, Corpus Christi; and Frances Quintanilla of San Antonio. Artie had 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He is survived by his Mother, Dorothy Goding, Columbia, SC; Siblings, Mitch Goding (Debra) Fredericksburg VA; Cindy McGill (Ted) Woolbridge, VA; Terri Washburn Columbia, SC.
Artie was united in marriage to Deborah (Quintanilla) on April 1, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and enjoyed a successful career of 33 years working for the Corpus Christi Army Depot. Artie was a part of an Elite Team in the Weapons and Fire Control Shop sent all over the world to repair Cobras. At the beginning it was primarily to Germany then later they traveled to Panama for Operation Just Cause and other "Hot Zones". He was very proud of what his shop and he had accomplished.
Artie enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends, He was a member of the NRA, HOG and FRA #94.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Guardian funeral home chapel from 11:00 a.m. til 1:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow with Military honors at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 IH 37 Access Rd.
