Armando Avalos. Jr. 63 passed away April 3, 2013.He was born in Mercedes, Texas on August 8, 1949.Armando served his country proudly in the U.S. Army,and he retired after several years of employment at CCAD.He was a loving son, brother, uncle.  Armando had a big heartand always thought of others before himself, always willing to help anyone in need.He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Avalos, Sr.two nephews, Jeremy and Thomas Peters, and brother-in-law,Pete Peters.He is servived by his mother, Teodora Duenes Avalos, sisters,Aida Avalos Perters, Azalea Avalos Sanchez, His brothers, Abel,Arnoldo, Adolfo, Andres, and Adan Avalos, and numerous niecesand nephews. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Guardianfuneral home chapel A with a Prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 atGuardian funeral home.
