Apolonio Rodriguez, 63, passed away July 14, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sebastian, Texas on February 25, 1952. Apolonio was a hard working man who provided for his family, allowing for his wife to be a housewife and stay home mom. He loved playing his guitar, singing, playing scratch offs, favorite color was blue and his loved his cowboy boots. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He worked for Walmart and Our Lad of Perpetual Help Catholic church. Apolonio is survived by his wife, Alejandrina Rodriguez, his children, Claudia A. Rodrigue, Abel Rodriguez, adopted sons, Luis Quiroz, Robert Rodriguez, III, Oscar Maldonado, Russell Allen, Robert Garcia, his grandchildren, Yajaira Rodriguez, Jacob and Joshua Benavides, Diego and Krisabel Rodriguez, brothers, Robert Rodriguez, Jr.,(late sister-in-law Jesusa), Juan Rodriguez, Moises (Mary) Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Gloria Morales, Noe Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, sisters, Sonia (Frank) Matthews, Martha Rodriguez, (the late Ida Rodriguez Lopez), Linda (Eudelio) Benavides, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and lots of good friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery. Special thanks to Angel Bright Hospice and Wooldrige nursing home to all staff.
