Obituary

Anthony Suarez of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 31, 1963.


He was preceeded by his Parents  Antonia T. Suarez and Alejandro T. Suarez. Preceeded also by three brothers Alejandro Suarez Jr., Victor M. Suarez and Homer Suarez.


Survived by two brothers and one sister, Jesse Suarez, Ceasar (Karen Suarez) Suarez, Emma Lou (Adolfo R. Chapa III) Chapa. Also survived by four nieces, Merissa (Joe) Torres, Vanessa (Edmond) Bryant, Ashley (Michael) Sinkhorn, Elena (Ryan) McMullen. Two nephews, Jesse Ray Suarez and Omar Alejandro (Vanessa) Suarez. Five great nieces and Six great nephews, "One Aunt Emelina Suarez and various cousins in  Texas and Chicago, Illinios.


Anthony graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1981.
Studied Chemistry at Anderson University.
Studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston.
Recieved B.A. Studied Liberal Arts at Mid-America Christian University.


Loved helping and Volunteered for 10 years at First United Methodist Church at The Chicago Temple. Helped and assisted the homeless with food, clothing and daily necessary needs offered by The Chicago Temple.


He also worked in Operations at Citgo Petroleum in Lemont, Illinois from 1997 - 2005.


He was an extremely intelligent devout Christian who loved bike riding throughout Chicago. He was very proud to have traveled on a good will Missionary trip to China with a Church group in October of 2003.
His dream of traveling to Jerusalem, Israel on Easter and other European countries came to fruition in April 2017.


Tony will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His Smile and outgoing good nature will always be remembered. We honestly believe that he went to sleep and woke up in Heaven greeted by His lovedones.

Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Guardian funeral home with a Service to Celebrate Anthony's life to held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park cemetery.
