Anita Robert Hebert passed away on March 26, 2013 after a lengthy, valiant battle with colon cancer. She was born in Kingsville, Texas on November 11, 1946. Anita was the first born of Curtis D. and Catherine Sue Yonker Robert. Following her education in Falfurrias, Texas and at Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas, Anita began her 35-year marketing and advertising career in Dallas, and later in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Anita was preceded in death by both parents and her very young son, Michael Jeffrey Hebert.
She is survived by a sister, Marianne Robert of Corpus Christi, Texas, two brothers, Alex Robert of Falfurrias, Texas, and Curtis Robert of Houston, Texas, one nephew, two nieces, a host of 'favorite cousins' and special friend, Robert Hammond of McKinney, Texas.
Warm appreciation is extended to the kind staff of Alameda Oaks Nursing Home for the loving care they provided Anita over the past several years.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Alameda Oaks Nursing Home.
