Anita Palomarez Cristan

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Anita Palomarez Cristan, 73, passed away August 6, 2013 with her loving family by her side.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Margarita Cisneros and Antonio Palomarez, Sr., her husband of 49 years Bito Cristan and two sons.

She will be missed terribly by her fury companions Sugar Baby and Joja. Anita worked for the West Oso school district for over 30 yeaars. She was also an active member in CCD classes at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church for many years. She was blessed with many friends and family who would visit her for advice and support. We know she is dancing in the heavens saying I am home.

She is survived by her children, Victor (Olga) Cristan, Jr., Cristobal (Christina) Cristan, Anna Maria (Raul) Lopez and Alma (George) Banda; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Antonio Palomarez, Jr., of Houston, TX., Stella De Luna of Corpus Christi, TX., Teresita Cisneros of San Antonio, TX., Mary Ann Mosier of Cedar Park, TX., and Ted Cisneros, Jr., and many relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Guardian funeral home Chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady Of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 1/2 Bloomington in Molina.

Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nelson Cristan, Randall Lopez, Jeremy Garza, George Banda, Jr., Mike Garcia and Danny Cervantes. Honorary pallbearers are Jarrett Cristan and Ethan Cristan.
