Obituary

Angelo J. Franzone, Jr. died peacefully at his home on December 13, 2020, at the age of 69 yrs surrounded by his loved ones after a long hard fight with several health issues. Angelo was born at the CC Naval Base to Mary Molina and Angelo J. Franzone, Sr.

Angelo was an avid football fan and a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. Don't call him during football season because he was not going to answer his phone. Angelo loved family gatherings and making children laugh with his stories of being a ninja, an alien, Navy Seal to name a few characters, but most of all The original GodFather. His Favorite pastime was traveling with his wife of 15 years and showering her with gifts and unconditional love. Angelo worked at Christus Spohn Hospital-South for many years, however retired from R.T.A. as a bus driver; where he had the pleasure of making lasting friendships and given the nickname "Fonzie."

Angelo is preceded in death by his mom Mary L. Molina Badgett; his dad Angelo J. Franzone, Sr and a niece Lisa A. Elizondo.

Angelo is survived by his wife: Teodora Franzone; daughters: Heather A. Franzone, Erica Franzone Akhtar (Malik Masood Akhtar), Mariana Moncayo (Scott G Bond II), Nilvia Utrera; sons: Daniel Utrera and Gustavo Utrera (Angela Cano); brother: Jerry Franzone, sisters: Rose Ann Watson, Ruby Franzone, Glenda Badgett, Linda Badgett, and Judy Brown; grandchildren: Esperanza, Luciana, Rosa Valentina, Allyssia, Ryann, Amber, Raven, Savannah, Seth, Usman, Zain; great-grandchildren: Anakin, Orion, Lucille; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and fur-baby ChaCha Franzone. Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 SPID/Kostoryz. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
