Angelita M. Saldana, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2023 at the age of 77.

She was born on January 15, 1946 to her parents Felipe D. Martinez and Virginia V. Martinez in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Intimately known as Angie to her family and friends. She attended West Oso High School and was a graduate of Stevenson's Beauty College.

Angelita is joined now in heaven by her parents; and siblings: Felipe Martinez, Jr., and Irma Torres.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jose M. Saldana, Jr.; daughters: Isabella M. Rhoden, Marie A. Saldana; grandchildren: Summer Rhoden, Ariela Saldana, Alexis Saldana, Josiah Saldana; siblings: Juan (Josie) Martinez, Raul (Maricela) Martinez, Virginia Morales (Andrew Garza), Grace (Robert) Miller and Lydia (the Late Ricardo) Lara; along with numerous extended members of family whom she loved.

Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
