Angel Nicole De La Cruz, 31, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on January 7, 2026. Born on December 9, 1994, in Corpus Christi, Angel lived a life marked by deep love, unwavering faith, and a radiant spirit that touched all who knew her.
Angel was the beloved partner of Vidal Perez Jr., the love of her life. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her four sons: Zayn Jackson, Amenadiel Jackson, Kai De La Cruz, and Vidal Perez III. Her children were the center of her world—her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Angel poured her heart into motherhood and did everything she could to provide them with love, guidance, and strength.

She is also remembered with love by her mother Lori Anderson; maternal grandparents John and Carla Anderson; paternal grandmother Maggie Monsevias; great-grandmother Joyce Schoening; Special great-aunt and uncle of Charleston, WV Sharon and Heartley Anderson Jr.; aunt Alecia Guillen; uncle Billy De La Cruz; siblings RJ De La Cruz, Katherine Moreno, Christian Anderson, Anakin Franco, Carl Anderson, Larryssa Magana, Hazel Ramos, Heartley Ramos, Isabella Ramos, Ashley De La Cruz, Alyssa De La Cruz, and Diego De La Cruz; and stepbrother Christopher Hernandez. Angel's extended family includes numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will carry her memory forward with love.
Preceded in Death By
She was preceded in death by her father Roger De La Cruz and her cherished son Zakeriah Anthony De La Cruz.
Angel's faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She spent countless hours reading her Bible and grounding herself in God's word. Her relationship with our Father brought her comfort and clarity during life's challenges. Her spiritual strength was evident to those around her—she leaned on God for understanding and walked through life with grace rooted in belief.
Those who knew Angel will remember the way her smile could light up even the darkest room. Her laughter was infectious—a sound that brought joy wherever she went. Whether it was dancing to NSYNC or singing along to Chris Brown songs at full volume, Angel embraced life with passion and authenticity.
Above all else, she loved being a Mommy. Her boys were not just part of her life—they were her purpose. Every decision she made reflected her deep devotion to them.
Though gone too soon from this world, Angel leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched—especially through the hearts of her children. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14th from 4pm-8pm and the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:30pm.
