Andres R. "Andy" Rocha Jr., age 85, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on April 3, 1940. Andy left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and music that will be cherished by all who knew him

Andy is survived by his loving wife, Elisa Barrientez Rocha; children Andres Rocha III (Kelli), David Rocha, Ricky Rocha, and Becky Rocha; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Rosemary Garcia and Irene Rocha; brother Gilbert Rocha (Esther); and many nieces and nephews.

He now rests alongside his parents, Dominga V. Rocha and Andres R. Rocha Sr.; sisters Lydia Perez and Leonor Moreno; and brothers Ramiro Rocha, Robert Rocha, and Leo Rocha.

A viewing will be held on January 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown. A Rosary will follow at 6:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on January 13, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Pilar, 1101 Bloomington St., with burial to follow at Memory Gardens, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd.
