Obituary of Andres R. Gonzales Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Andres R. Gonzales Jr. (“Andy”), who sadly passed away on April 7, 2026. He was born on February 11, 1964, in Sinton, Texas, to Andres R. Gonzales Sr. Lucrecia Moreno Gonzales, Jose Luis, and Dulce Maria who preceded him in death.

Andy grew up in Rockport, Texas.

He is survived by his sisters, Andrea Flores, Janie Gonzales, and Guadalupe Rendon of Houston; Criselda Mendoza of Deer Park; Maria Rosario Gonzalez and Patricia Gonzales Villela of Corpus Christi; and his brother, Edward (Blanca) Gonzales of Wimberley, Texas. His precious Fur Baby Blanquita.

Furthermore, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew, along with his uncle Arturo (Estella) Gonzales and Aunt Elida from Beeville, Texas, Gonzales, and numerous cousins.

Andy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Guardian funeral home chapel 5922 Crosstown Expressway in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Andy will be laid to rest with his parents in Beeville, Texas.
