Andrea Alvarez entered into eternal rest with our heavenly Father Friday, July 17,2020 at the age of 93

Born on November 27,1926 in San Diego Texas to Miguel and Maximina Santellana.

Andrea met her soulmate Max in Corpus Christi, Texas. On December 22, 1942 Maximiliano Alvarez and Andrea Santellana would join their hearts as one in the sacrament of marriage. Their union brought to life three beautiful children: Juanita Alvarez (Daniel Martinez) of San Antonio, Maxine Urias, Jesse (Corina) Alvarez both of Corpus Christi. Andrea was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She joins now in heaven her parents; siblings; and her husband of 51 years Maximiliano Alvarez.

Andrea lovingly dedicated her life to caring and nurturing her husband and children. Andrea was a strong and bold woman; she in turn taught her children to be strong, loyal, independent and caring. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to live in our hearts for generations to come.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday July 24, at Guardian Funeral Home with a Catholic Chapel Service and Holy Rosary to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
