Andrea Anguiano Aguilar, a cherished soul known for her feisty spirit and steadfast independence, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in Corpus Christi. Born on November 23, 1932, in Palito Blanco to Simon and Andrea Anguiano, Andrea’s life was marked by creativity, strength, and a profound love for her family and passions.

Andrea had a remarkable zest for life, expressing herself through her love of dancing to Tejano music and her creative sewing talents. Her adventurous spirit fueled a deep passion for travel, allowing her to embrace the world with wonder and enthusiasm. Those who knew Andrea will remember her strong-headed nature and fierce determination, qualities that shaped her independent way of living and the rich legacy she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guadalupe Aguilar, and by her devoted parents, Simon and Andrea Anguiano. She also mourns the loss of her brothers Salvador, Simon, Leopoldo, Manuel, Juan, Humberto, and Hector Anguiano, and her sisters Maria Buentello, Aurora Vasquez, Aminta Gonzalez and Octaviana Anguiano.

Andrea is lovingly survived by her son Eliseo Munoz and his wife Sandra, who stood by her side with devotion and love. Her sisters, Rupaja Martinez and Emma (George) Trevino, continue to cherish the bond they shared through the years. Andrea’s legacy lives on vibrantly through her grandchildren Debbie Munoz and Michael Munoz, along with Michael’s wife Lauren. Her great-grandchildren Bejamin Munoz, Malory Martinez (and spouse Mares), London Munoz, and Memphis Munoz added more joy and warmth to her life. Additionally, Andrea's memory is honored by six great-great- grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews who carry forward her indomitable spirit and love.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Letty Quintero, Andrea's caregiver of many years, whose dedication and compassion provided comfort and support through Andrea's final chapter.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
