Amy Renee Wallace Estrada, devoted mother of two sons and lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Texas died in a tragic accident at the age of 44.
Amy is survived by her parents, Danny and Carla Wallace; her sons Ryan Estrada and Joshua Salazar; her brother Danny Wallace Jr and his wife Melissa and nephew Colin, and her maternal grandmother Margaret Shurbet. Amy is also survived by a large family of aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family members whose lifetime of love and memories shared with Amy will be with them forever.
Amy is preceded in death by her grandmother Dolly Wallace, and her grandfathers James D. Wallace and Jimmy Shurbet.
All those who knew Amy knew of her big heart and generous nature. She was always interested in knowing and loving everyone she met. The outpouring of love by so many family and friends is a testament to how much she was loved. Her caring nature and infectious giggle, and unique ability to find a quirky perspective to everyday situations will carry on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Amy was a cherished daughter and sister, but most of all she was a mom. Amy loved her sons more than anything in the world, and they will forever carry memories in their hearts of her playful sense of humor and the good times they experienced with their mom. She was held in a special place in the hearts of so many people, she would be overwhelmed by the number. Amy loved her family and treasured many lasting friendships.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11am at Guardian Funeral Chapel, 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, Texas. Graveside service to follow at Memory Gardens.
