In the afternoon of May 5, 2024 for Amanda Jalene Armijo, 35, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ.

Amanda battled cancer in 2017 and it returned earlier this year; she fought with strength and grace. This beautiful courage which she boldly shared is her living legacy, an example to each of us. She may have lost this earthly battle, but she gained the kingdom of heaven.

Amanda is survived by her children, Dawson Sampson, and Claire Martinez, her mother Tamron Armijo and her brothers, Justin, and Robert Armijo; along with a host of extended members of the family and countless friends whom she loved.

After battling cancer in 2017, she went on to get her RN license. She was a wonderful nurse and a fantastic mother. Her whole life was geared towards her family ensuring that she provided them with love and grace. She will be missed dearly.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 18 at 02:00 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1317 Flour Bluff Dr.
