It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Alicia Medina Tobias. She passed away suddenly on May 15, 2025, at the age of 74 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born in Corpus Christi Texas on February 18, 1951, to the late Juan and Concepcion Medina.

She is survived by her siblings Antonio (Olga), Aurora (Juan), Antonia, Guillermo (Patricia) and the late Juan (Janie), Refugio, Reynaldo (Juanita), Maria Lydia, and Raul (Sylvia) Medina.

Alicia was a devoted wife to the late Miguel Tobias Sr. since October 3, 1969. She was a 1968 graduate of Roy Miller high school. She was a housewife for many years a supportive mother to four children Alma Ramos (Mark) , Ann Marie (Rick), Miguel (Lisa) and Adam (Melinda), always there to operate encouragement and guidance. She was a wonderful grandmother to 9 grandchildren, Marlene, Mathew, Jacob, Brandon, Alicia, Amanda Ramos, Adam Jr., Adrian and David. Alicia enjoyed seeing her family grow, she was a great mother to 12, had several God children, numerous nieces and nephews.

Alicia loved spending time with her family and was always overjoyed with her grandchildren's visits. She was devoted to her church, a woman of faith. Attending many celebrations to show her support and love to all she knew.

Public visitation begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic church 1101 Bloomington St.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
