Alicia Isaac Soliz, 79, went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family by her side.

She was born in Banquete, Texas on January 14, 1945. Alicia was a graduate from Banquete High School. She was an optician for many years and was loved by her patients for the outstanding care she provided to them.

Alicia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt who will always be remembered for her sassy sense of humor, her obsession for basketball especially the Los Angeles Lakers. She will be remembered for her impeccable style, grace and generosity.

Alicia attended Calvary Church Robstown, where she devoted her time to assisting with vacation bible study, attended religious events and furthered her journey in faith attending religious conferences.Alicia was preceded in death by her parents Delfino Isaac Sr., and Antonia Y. Isaac, her late husband Horacio T. Soliz, and her four brothers and two sisters.Left to cherish her memory is her longtime companion, Edward Garza, her sisters, Beatrice Bayardo (Amancio), Maria Luisa Gonzalez, her daughters Patricia Soliz- Garcia (Juan), Jessica Hinojosa (Luvy) her grandchildren D'vante Duhart, Ryan Rios, Alexa Rios, and her twins Dylan and Isabelle Hinojosa and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home Corpus Christi, Texas.Graveside service and burial will be held at 2 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas Wednesday. February, 7, 2024.
