Alicia Sandoval Cruz went on to join the Lord on the afternoon of January 6, 2021.

Alicia was born on March 21, 1957 in San Marcos, Texas. Alicia was the fourth of five children.

She was preceded in death by her father: Rudy Sandoval, Sr., mother: Alexandra Flores, and sister: Yolanda Lerma.

Alicia was a very loving person with a beautiful heart of gold.  Nothing on earth brought more joy to Alicia than spending countless hours with friends and family.  Alicia is the heart and life blood of her beautiful family she so proudly raised. She taught her child to be strong, loyal, independent, and caring.  Alicia lived a very happy life along side her best friend, soul mate, and husband of 40 years Ignacio Cruz, Jr.

Alicia leaves behind to cherish these beautiful memories her husband Ignacio Cruz, Jr.; daughter: Audrey Lerma; son: Benjamin Cruz (Valeria Perez); daughter: Casey Ayala-Cruz (Ashley Ayala-Cruz); she is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as her sister: Diane De Leon (Joe De Leon); brothers: Rudy Sandoval Jr., Rodney Sandoval; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she adored.

Alicia was truly an angel on earth and now she is an angel in heaven.

A Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Guardian funeral home chapel.
