Alice Weed
Boone
Aug 1, 1945 — May 18, 2026
Loving Mother and Loyal Friend - Alice Carolyn Boone, 80, was welcomed home to Heaven on May 18, 2026.
Alice was born and raised in Corpus Christi, and she loved living in "The Sparkling City by the Sea." Her greatest loves were her family, friends, and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She spent her life building meaningful relationships and sharing kindness, encouragement, and love with everyone she met. Alice had a remarkable gift for connecting with people and never met a stranger. Whether speaking with a lifelong friend or someone she had just met, Alice made others feel valued and heard. She always enjoyed brightening the day of those around her. Spending time with people, sharing stories, and offering encouragement was her reason for being.
Music was another great joy in Alice's life. She spent several years singing with the First United Methodist Church Choir and was a devoted lover of choral and praise music. A true music aficionado, she found joy, comfort, and inspiration in music throughout her life.
She will be remembered as a woman of unwavering resilience, generosity, compassion and faith. A loyal friend and devoted mother and grandmother, Alice always made time for those she loved. Her life is a testament to the importance of taking time to care for others and the lasting impact a kind word and listening ear can have on the world around us.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Weed; her brother, Joe Weed; her sister, Jerinelle Johnson; and her father, Tillman Weed.
She is survived by her children Rebecca Curtis, Nancy Ross and Gary Boone; her grandchildren, Joy, Brandon, and Savannah; and her great-grandchildren, Malachi, Edith, and Nathaniel.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the countless lives she touched, the love she freely gave, and the faith that guided her throughout her life. While her earthly journey is complete, her family rests in knowing she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her legacy of friendship, compassion, and devotion to Christ will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
