Alfred Leroy Dooley, age 87, passed away on April 10, 2026 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was formerly from the Garden City community of Roanoke, Virginia where he was owner of Dooley’s Tile. Both he and his wife were active in their church, Restoration Fellowship, in Corpus Christi.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann Stanley Dooley, and his son Kevin and his wife, Bonnie. He is survived by two grandsons, Jason and wife Julie, Derek and wife Lauren. He also has 3 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Zachary and Connor. He is also survived by his sister, Geraldine Hodges, of Roanoke, VA and his sister, Nellie Jane Anderson, of Rocky Mount, VA.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ira Cleve Dooley and mother, Lucy Epperly Dooley. He is also preceded in death by his older brother, Charles Preston Dooley and his younger brother, Ira Nelson Dooley.

A memorial service will be held on May 16 at Restoration Church.
