IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alberto Ortiz,
Sr.
September 4, 1952 – October 2, 2021
Alberto "Beto, Papa" Ortiz,69, gained his wings on Oct. 2, 2021.
He was born Sept. 4, 1952, in Falfurrias, Tx.
Beto was a wonderful husband, the best father, a great friend, and an amazing papa. His wife, children and his grandkids were his everything! He never hesitated when it came to his kids when they called, he was there, especially his grandkids. He would drop anything and everything when it came to them! Beto was the greatest friend anyone could ask for, if you were one of his friends you were lucky.
Beto served his country and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. His favorite thing to do was gardening, he was so proud of his garden and showed it off to everyone who stopped by his house.
Beto was a jack of all trades, his all-time favorite was working weekends at the trade center at Pop's Beef Jerky. He was there for 10 years, always greeting you with a smile and laugh. Thank you, Brandy, Linda & LuLu for loving him so much.
Papa leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years Irene Ortiz; his 2 sons: Alberto Ortiz, Jr. (Miriah) & Austin Ortiz; his one and only daughter Ashley Ortiz (Jesse Montez) and his beloved grandkids: Rylee(penguinas) Taylor(peewees), Jayke(gordo), Aj(weto), John, Arabella, Josephine, Jenna Marie, NikkiLynn & Vivian. His best friend and loyal companion Mydas (his dog). His brother Narciso Ortiz and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was so loved and will truly be missed by everyone. They say God only takes the good ones and he took the greatest man he has ever created!!
