It is with great sadness that the family of Alan Jot Ramos announce his passing on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at the age of 37 years. Alan will be forever remembered by his wife, Erica; his two daughters, Alana and Tearnie; parents, Jose and Sara; and his three brothers Richard (Priscilla), Dan and Michael. Alan will also be fondly missed by his extended family and numerous friends. A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Alan was born on September 16, 1980, and was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School. Alan truly enjoyed life through simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, spending time joking and laughing with friends and family, hosting family dinners, and cheering for his beloved 49ers. He will be remembered as a caring husband and a loving father to his girls. Alan proudly served a tour of duty in Iraq as a member of United States Army. His time spent in the military was one of his most proudest accomplishments
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Burial with Military Honors to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 Access Rd.
