Agustina Reyna, 88, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025.
Born on May 28, 1937, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Agustina dedicated her life to hard work, family, and the simple joys that brought beauty to everyday living.
She began her working years in the fields, toiling alongside family to provide and build a foundation of resilience. As a young mother, she poured her heart into raising her children, creating a home filled with love and tradition. Later, Agustina pursued her passion for helping others look and feel their best, first as a skilled beautician and then as an optician, where she served her community with kindness and care until her retirement.
In her leisure time, Agustina found peace and creativity in her garden, tending flowers and plants that brightened her world. She also delighted in crafting beautiful glass mosaics and enjoyed the excitement and camaraderie of playing bingo with friends and family.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Agustina found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, and the many generations that followed. She was known for her warm heart, unwavering faith, and the countless family gatherings filled with laughter, food, and stories that brought everyone together.
Agustina was preceded in death by her husband and by her beloved sons, Rudolfo Reyna and Juan Jose Reyna.
She is survived by her children, Paul Reyna, Domingo Reyna, and Linda Hernandez; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren expected soon. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Agustina will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, strength, hard work, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Guardian funeral home Chapel "B" with a Chapel Service to begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery 8200 Olds Brownsville Rd. at 3:00 p.m.
