Obituary

Agnes Theresa Schonhoeft Marion born May 15,1942 in Petronila, TX passed away November 20,2017 with God at her side. The daughter of Joe and Theresa Schonhoeft. Agnes graduated from St. Johns Catholic High School in 1960. She was a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved everyone that she knew and was loved by everyone that knew her. She enjoyed watching the EWTN Catholic network and praying the holy rosary. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who was often frustrated. Agnes enjoyed caring for and raising her granddaughters. Agnes has had recent pains and struggles with her health but was a fighter to the end. God works in mysterious ways and when he took her he knew she could not battle no more.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Theresa Schonhoeft, her brothers Henry Schonhoeft and Frank Schonhoeft (Mary Beth Snapka) and her son Dennis Marion.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Charles Marion, son David Marion and daughters Kyleigh McFaden, Kelsey Marion, son John Marion (Tammy Edwards Marion) and daughters Roslyn Marion and Kristin Marion.

She was a devoted Christian and a member of St Theresa Catholic church for many years who prayed at every opportunity she had for God to help her.
The Marion family would like to thank all the medical personnel who have helped her recently and we also want to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the past years.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 27, from 4-8pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm that evening at Guardian Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 28, at 11:30am at Saint Theresa Catholic Church 1302 Lantana St., Burial to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery 9974 I 37 Access Rd.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Bruce Skaggs, James Schilhab, Tommy, Milam, Ross and Burt Toman
