Adolfo Wilmot Moreno, 81, beloved husband , father and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on September 5, 2013.
He was predeceased by his parents, Crispin and Maria Moreno, his brothers Reynaldo and Crispin Moreno, his sisters Adelina Mosqueda, Carmen (Pinta) Gorham and Guadalupe Ybanez.
Adolfo was born in Three Rivers Texas on March 25, 1932. He attended Three Rivers High School and was a member of the football and baseball teams. He was a veteran serving his country in the United States Air Force. He was retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot where he was employed as a Supply Supervisor. His greatest legacy is the unending love he had for his wonderful wife Carmen and his family. He will be greatly missed by all.
Adolfo is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Carmen G. Moreno , 7 children, Elda (Mario) Olivarez, Christina (Noe) Rodriguez of San Isidro , Texas , Michael Moreno, Adolfo Jr (Bea ) Moreno of Alice , Texas , Crispin (Maria) Moreno, Mary Ann (Steve A.) Garza Stephanie (Robert) Betancourt. 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Frank Moreno and Richard Moreno of San Antonio Texas., and one sister Evangelina Guerra of San Diego Texas.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Coastal Health and the A7Unit at Christus Spohn Shoreline . Their kind , compassionate service to Adolfo was a heartwarming blessing to the entire family.
Visitation will be held beginning at 4:00pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 followed by a rosary beginning at 7:00pm. at Guardian Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 11:00 am at Sts Cyril and Methodius Church .Internment to follow at the Coastal Bend Veterans State Cemetery.
