Mrs. Adelaida Lopez Perez, 74, passed away October 19, 2019.

A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was born on December 18, 1944 in Gregory, Texas to her parents Antonia Soliz Lopez and Valentin Adame Lopez Sr.

Affectionately know as "Lala" to her grandchildren, they would describe her as a strong independent woman, a fighter, a woman of wisdom and knowledge. A woman who spoke her mind, walked with her head held high, full of respect and love. The legacy she left behind will live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. You gave us all something too look forward to and never will it be goodbye but until we meet again.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents Mr & Mrs Valentin Adame Lopez, Sr.

Mrs Perez is survived by three children Ray (Molly) Perez, Christine (John) Tamez, Berny (Teena) Perez; 13 grand children, 17 great grand children and two brothers Benito Lopez & Valentin Lopez, Jr.

The Grandchildren that were blessed to see her in her final days: David Perez, Suzan Perez, Ray Perez, Jr., Kristina Rodriguez, Destiny Perez, Kristyn Gonzalez, Angelita and Brenda Saucedo, Crystal Lopez, Christian and Daveigh Perez.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Guardian funeral home chapel ''A'' with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
