Obituary

Adel Pacheco, born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 12, 1951, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025.

Adel Pacheco was preceded in death by her mother and father, Roberto & Mable Pacheco, two brothers, Joe Medina, John Edward Pacheco (Eddie) and one sister, Carmen Pacheco.

Survivors include her daughter: Gina Marie Tamez; one brother, Roberto Pacheco of Kingsville, Texas, three sisters, Carolina Pacheco, Mary Alice Pacheco and Marilyn (Guy) Hutchison, all of Corpus Christi, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Adel graduated from Mary Carroll High School and received a BA in Business from Texas A & M Corpus Christi.  She retired from Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid in Corpus Christi, where she loved being a public servant, helping those in need.  She had a passion for reading and education. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her daughter, nieces and nephews.
"Tia NaNa" will always be remembered for her passion for making people laugh, her generosity and the quality time spent with all her nieces and nephews while growing up.  She will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Her family would like to send a heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation center on Morgan Ave, Corpus Christi, Texas for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly request a donation to the National Kidney Foundation.
