IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adam Ray
Rios
October 22, 1996 – August 26, 2025
Adam Ray Rios, passed away surrounded by love and comfort on August 26, 2025. He was 28 years old.
Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Adam was a cherished son, brother, and partner. He is survived by his parents, Lili and Ramon Rios; his brothers, Chris and Jesse Rios; and his fiancée, Clarissa Maria Guerra. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends, including cousins and friends who he considered his siblings.
Always laughing and smiling, Adam was a golden-hearted man who found joy in simple pleasures: making coffee just right, dreaming of and enjoying delicious food, spending time with his beloved dog Dos, and filling every space with his quiet presence and gentle wisdom. He lived intentionally and loved deeply. Even through his relentless cancer diagnosis and treatment, he never lost his warmth, intelligence, or humor.
Adam was a gifted wordsmith, a lover of language, literature, and music, and someone who could make meaning out of even the smallest moments. He was pursuing a degree in kinesiology and dreamed of becoming a physical therapist— a path that reflected his natural kindness and desire to help others heal.
Adam faced death not with fear, but with peace and acceptance. He would want others to know this: never let uncertainty stop you from being your best self or experiencing life to the fullest. He did not let it stop him.
In lieu of flowers, Adam's family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society, the Houston Hope Lodge, or the Spohn Cancer Center. A private ceremony will be held in his honor.
