Abelino Guerrero, Jr. gained his wings on November 5, 2021 at the age of 62.
Abelino was a devout catholic and served as an altar boy during his school years.
Abel (BIG DOG) made friends everywhere he went, especially if it was about hunting or fishing. He always looked forward to hunting season and taking pictures of the deer, wild boar or whatever his kill was that day.
He loved taking his boat out fishing with family, friends, neighbors or new friends he had made. Always with a smile on his face. All though we the family seldom called him "BIG DOG" that was his trucking name. He worked with HEB for 19 years. He reached the "Million Mile" run for safe and good driving. We are grateful to the HEB family that "Big Dog" considered his 2nd family.
Abel was jack of all trades; no job complicated him. He was experienced in plumbing, electrical, remodeling, fixing small engines to large engines, and lawn mowers repairs. In his high school years he bought a mustang. He was always working on the motor, transmission, clutch, he would burn rubber on those tires. Brother taught me how to drive the stick shift and burn rubber (i loved those times "Diana")
Everyone knew my brother loved milk aside from any other drinks, Mom & Dad would always buy more than one gallon, when we were growing up. He would make friends or sweet talk with the cafeteria ladies, just so he can get extra milk. Abel would also love to bar b que and he would bake pies from lemon meringue, apple pie, peach pie and pecan pie. And cook the turkey for Thanksgiving with sides. He also made tamales a few times.
Brother we will miss you, until we meet again. Go fly with the Angels.
