With heavy hearts we are announcing the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather Abel Nunez Sanchez. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 23,2023. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Concepcion Q. Sanchez. They're five children Sergio Abel (Angie) Sanchez, Obed (Teresa)Sanchez, Isai (Melinda) Sanchez, Josue (Yvonne) Sanchez, Beatriz (JD) Valdez. Nine grandchildren and Ten great grandchildren. He was known for his love of music.  As a musician, one could just visit our parents home and hear our father playing his favorite instrument the Bajosexto or the accordion. Which we will all miss.

Pallbearers for the service sons Sergio A Sanchez, Obed Sanchez, Isai Sanchez, Josue Sanchez and Grandsons Raven Isai Sanchez and JD Valdez II.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3rd 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel (5922 Crosstown Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78417). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4th 2023 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 4th 2023 at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415).
