Abel Garcia, Jr., age 62, of Dallas, Texas, passed away October 6, 2021.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and attended schools in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business.

At the time of his passing, he was Chief Compliance Officer for the Prospera Financial Company, Dallas, Texas, and had been with the company 28 years.

He loved music, art and business and was accomplished in all three. He was a voracious reader on all topics, even cooking, but always loved books about creating a burgeoning business.

He is survived by a daughter, mother, brother and sister, and extended family and friends.

A Christian Burial service at the cemetery, officiated by Father Stuart Joleen, will be celebrated on Saturday, January 8, 2022 , at 1:30 pm, Rose Hill Cemetery, Corpus Christi, Texas.
